What we do

FiSCAF – Faiths in Scotland Community Action Fund works with local faith groups as they build hope and struggle against poverty by providing grants and support for their initiatives in Scotland’s most fragile urban and rural communities.

Faith and people matter and we want our support to make the following differences:

· More faith communities involved in the struggle against poverty in Scotland’s most fragile urban and rural communities

· Greater understanding and respect between different faith communities and greater willingness over time to work together

· More local people continually growing and developing, increasing their confidence and skills

· More local people with greater choices and opportunities

We are committed to listening to and learning from the faith communities we work with as we establish and review this new grant and support programme so that the skills and knowledge of everyone involved are continually developing.

FiSCAF is an initiative of Faith in Community (Scotland): an anti-poverty organisation working with and through people of faith.
